An irregular pulse refers to an abnormal heart rhythm, often accompanied by symptoms like palpitations, dizziness, and fatigue. Common causes include atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, ectopic beats, and Wenckebach heart block. Diagnostic tests such as electrocardiogram (ECG), Holter monitoring, echocardiogram, and electrophysiological studies help identify the underlying arrhythmia and guide treatment.
