Hypothermia occurs when the body temperature falls below normal due to the body’s inability to maintain heat in extreme cold conditions or due to a medical disorder that alters the regulation of body temperature.

True Hypothermia due to Cold Exposure | Symptoms of hypothermia following known exposure to low temperatures without adequate insulation. | Body temperature measurement showing less than 35°C (95°F). |
Hypothyroidism | Signs of slowed metabolism such as fatigue, weight gain, dry skin, cold intolerance. | Thyroid function tests showing reduced levels of T3 and T4 and elevated TSH. |
