MRCEM PREPARATION
Many of us are preparing for the MRCEM in the coming months.
Personally, I have decided to study through MRCEM success (a recommendation from my dear friend Sufyan, thanks bro).
Something that is already evident to me is that the questions require an understanding of the topic in question (let's say DKA), but a significant part is also memorizing data (pH, BM, insulin dosage in treatment).
For this memorization part, I am using the Flash Cards methodology to help me (here is an example). I have tried various programs and websites, and I have chosen QUIZLET.
I quickly realized that manually preparing the flashcards on my own is quite a bit of work to be able to use them for memorization. So, I have come up with this idea that I want to propose to you all...
Idea
PREPARE A DATABASE OF FLASH CARDS
Preparing a database of flashcards would help all of us memorize much more easily. If you've seen the previous video, I think you'll agree.
My Proposal - Part 1
COLLABORATE TO CREATE THESE FLASH CARDS
I thought that if each of us prepares a series of questions and answers for the flashcards, it would be much faster and benefit all of us.
My Proposal - Part 2
UPLOAD ALL THE QUESTIONS TO QUIZLET
Participants would send me the questions in Word or Excel format, and I would upload them to Quizlet. Once the flashcards are created, I would share them with all participants.
Result
WE WOULD ALL STUDY IN A FASTER AND MORE EFFECTIVE MANNER
I believe that with a large database of flashcards, reviewing all the topics would be much faster and more effective.
How do we do it?
WE DIVIDE THE TOPICS
In MRCEM success, there are Textbooks for 30 different specialties with about 1,850 topics.
-
We start with the specialties with the most topics, which are likely to have more questions in the exam.
-
We divide the topics equally from each specialty, for example, T&O has 221.
-
Each one studies the assigned topic and prepares the questions and answers in Word or Excel format.
-
Send them to me, and I upload them to Quizlet.
-
Once uploaded, I share them with the entire group. Here is an example of the ones I have already uploaded.
-
We move on to the next specialty.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE IDEA?
IF, LIKE ME, YOU THINK IT CAN WORK AND BE A GOOD WAY TO STUDY, PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR DETAILS IN THE FORM BELOW, AND LET'S GET STARTED.
BEST REGARDS,

Note here I left a study group created by Dr. Ali Al-Sharifi to share ideas and tricks. I am already registered.
